NUKE_CLEVELAND
He's defenitely earned some props the last couple of days. If Hurt stays hot this team really can go some places.

BrandoFan
As he is getting older, Thomas would be wise to follow Alou's example and shorten the swing's path. Thankfully he is strong enough to upper-body/torque the ball.
Yoda
He's defenitely earned some props the last couple of days. If Hurt stays hot this team really can go some places. No doubt about it. He is hot right now and if anyone tries to touch him he'll explode.
danman31
Frank has been hitting well all year though. Granted his batting average isn't great, but he leads the AL in walks, 2nd in OB%, t-14th in Slugging, and 4th in OPS. Those numbers are freaking studly. His batting average is less important than these numbers anyway. He is hot now, but he has been doing well all season. He keeps this up and Ozzie might be right about the MVP year. Wise Master Buehrle
Franks BA is up to like .270 now. KEEP IT UP, HURT! We're all rooting for ya!
danman31
Frank keeps hurting the ball. Wow, if he stays this hot, just wow. He is an amazing player when he is hot.
witesoxfan
Best thing about it was the Twins announcers basically called it. Blyleven said "Greisinger has to be careful with Frank here 2-0" and the very next thing that happened was Thomas went deep. It was beautiful. Bighurt52235
Frank is a pretty good hitter. Shoots a rocket off the f***ing baggy. Now scores on a Carlos double. SWEET! Frank a triple shy of a cycle. What I wouldn't give..... NANANANA Hey Hey HEy goodbye!

greasywheels121
Thomas, the reason I became a Sox fan, is really showing exactly how he got my interest in this team with the way he's playing right now. To Frank!

Gene Honda Civic
I was really rooting for the triple in his last two AB's -- I would have pissed myself like a little schoolgirl if he was able to hit for the cycle.

witesoxfan
Frank can carry the team like no one I ever saw 2000 seems like yesterday, but at the same time, seems like it was 4 years ago(maybe because it was?) I wouldn't mind seeing 2000 again. This team seems to be getting hot, and if they can play .700 baseball for a good stretch of time, it could be over before you know it(ala 2000). Jordan4life_2007
Frank is rare in that he can carry a team almost singlehandedly when he's hot. I just hope he can keep this up.
SoxAce
Hell If Konerko could hit an inside the park homerun at one time, I see no problem in Frank hitting a triple..

cwsox
Frank picked the right time to get hot. absolutely -- dare we think MVP is a possibity?
Wise Master Buehrle
absolutely -- dare we think MVP is a possibity? No doubt. He has been consistent with his batters eye. Now he's putting the swing together. Hopefully he can hit well without a mini slump for a month or more.

hammerhead johnson
He came into the game with a .977 OPS. By the time the game was over, he had a 1.033 OPS.
