Wong & Owens
Another thing I love about Uribe-- he has James Baldwin Hat Syndrome What is this? Quite simply, it's the total inabilty to wear a baseball cap with the bill pointing straight forward. James Baldwin was the first player I noted that had this affliction for a whole season. Juan Uribe now has it, as does Cleveland pitcher C.C. Sabathia. I believe Luis Castillo also has it, and so does Milton Bradley. There is no known cure. hammerhead johnson
I noticed that it may be a thing with hitters in coors swinging for the fences. Look at what Ronny Belliard is doing since leaving Coors. Belliard was a top prospect many years ago for the Brewers. The Brewers didn't hold onto him too long cause he had some attitude problems and then he went to Coors and I'm guessing him and Uribe's swing were enticed by the thin air and ease of home runs and it really messed up their swings. That and when you play at Coors you basically have one swing for Coors and another for the road and it makes it extremely difficult to be a consistent hitter. This is all that you have to know about Belliard: 2003 VS. LHP: .345 AVG with a 1.010 OPS in 113 AB VS. RHP: .254 AVG with a .675 OPS in 334 AB 2004 VS. LHP: .474 AVG with a 1.182 OPS in 57 AB VS. RHP: .269 AVG with a .683 OPS in 104 AB The guy is perhaps the best hitter in the majors against LHP over the past two years combined. And what does the AL Central have plenty of? You guessed it. Left handed pitching.

NUKE_CLEVELAND
Just when you start to think Uribe is coming back down to earth he has a monster game like tonight & goes on a tear all over again. He is awesome.
Elcaballo45
I think his last 2 HR game was his first game back from his 2 month injury to start off the year in May for Colorado... although, it may be a little easier to hit them out there...
