SnB
I've got it and play it alot. I've bought the last two versions, 5 and 6. I've created a few threads on the game trying to urge people to try it out, never worked.

Fotop
Redandwhite, I play OOTP pretty often (I own both 5 and 6). It's a really good game and I don't understand why more people aren't into it because it is perfect for all of those "wannabe GM's". So ya, I'd be down for a league of some kind if you guys were to start one up.
False Alarm
i love ootp and would love to join the league...but i can't. i found the game so damn addictive i had to quit cold turkey cuz it was taking up all my time. how is 6 anyway? i've consciously avoided looking into its features and reading reviews cuz i didn't wanna be tempted. but yeah i agree with fotop that it's pretty much the perfect game. redandwhite
6 is looking to be pretty nasty. There are so many cool new features, so when i good patch comes out, its gonna be awesome. Im in year 2 with the White Sox, I let Maggs go as he wanted to be locked up for 7 years (ala what he wants now) and I then signed some free agents and look to be in pretty good shape. 1 more year until Jeremy Reed hits town. SnB
R&W. I really am not up for joining a league already in progress. But maybe we could get a little 4-team/6-team league going on for here....?

I'm actually in the middle of a blue jays dynasty, playing all the games out. First time, I've done that in a LONG time. We're winning though, Phelps is a stud. I keep getting distracted by my MVP dynasty though........
whitesoxin'
So is this a baseball game that is online? Because I have never heard of it for PS2. I have heard my friends say something about it before, but they didn't really explain it well.

Its a computer game that not only allows you play baseball, but to control everything from contract negotiations, to ticket prices, to stadium prices, to promotions at the games etc. Very cool stuff. Oh cool. I might look into buying that...MVP just isn't realistic in the sense of a long term dynasty. It's too hard to keep FA's around. It sounds a lot like Madden. redandwhite
This games more in depth than Madden. It honestly can't be compared to because without gameplay, they focus solely on the realism of being a gm/owner where as Madden's is alright with outstanding gameplay. If that makes sense... CWSGuy406
I play it, it's a great game. I traded Esteban Loaiza and Shingo for Mark Mulder, it was sweet. Buerhle and Mulder = Awesome. Too bad Jon Garland blows in the game, lol.
qwerty
I have played it before and really liked it but i cannot find a place that seels it. Do you know how long the shipping is off the ootp site.

It sounds a lot like Madden. If you think of it like madden w/o any of the in-game stuff then you've got it. The only in-game stuff it's got is like MVP manager mode, where you can pinch hit, call a hit/run, stuff like that. The game focuses on setting your rosters, finances, checking on the minors, trading.......and it's unbelievably fun.
