RedPinStripes
Since half of SnR is heavy Metal, we had to bring back the music. And this year there will be a wider varity. Not just stuff we play. SnR will share a broadcaster with Chisport this year, but since we replay our talk shows on chisport, i got in touch with a few of the metal heads on live 365 and found some really cool stations! I have a few linked up now on Sox-and-Roll More will be coming! And we are getting our old domain name back. By next week, sox-and-roll.com will be back up so we dont have to use geos***ties anymore. Rock on!!!!!!!

The Critic
Maybe if you played something other than god-damned f***ing Korn, you wouldn't have to link over to other stations!!! Korn eats the same ass Disturbed eats!! And System Of A Down eats the leftovers!!

Korn eats the same ass Disturbed eats!! And System Of A Down eats the leftovers!! Disturbed has gotten weak since they went big... If you'd only have seen them in Chicago before they went big... They were great... I think I saw 'em at Champs, once. But that was a while back.
The Critic
If you'd only have seen them in Chicago before they went big... They were great... I think I saw 'em at Champs, once. But that was a while back. I did see them at Champs just before they broke out on MTV, and I thought they were the fourth-worst band I've ever seen ( the Bottom 3 being Flipper, The Flaming Lips and The Butthole Surfers ). Disturbed are truly horrible, in my opinion, even worse than Korn. The whole hoppity-hop nu-metal trend completely escapes me - I just don't enjoy that style of music. I like heavy metal and punk mainly, with some lighter stuff and old rap ( Ice T, Ice Cube, Dre ) on occasion.

The Critic
Hey Red, can we hear a little Body Count on SnR this year? Hey, Apu, you'll probably have to go to one of the OTHER stations he's linking up to! RPS is very busy playing Korn and System Of A Down!! Body Count rules, by the way! cwsox
I may have to put in a word for my very obvious favorite - as well as for Ludacris and 50¢ - not that I expect anything but several posts saying they suck - I'd also suggest some opera - Mozart's Le Nozze Di Figaro is so beautiful and so is Verdi's Traviata which I am seeing in March - and I expect a few more posts saying they suck - oh well - what about Ronnie James Dio? Saw him in concert and loved it!

The Critic
While I have no problem with classical music ( not my music of choice, but I recognize the quality ), it really doesn't fit the programming on SnR. Of course, with Korn and System Of A Down starting off every show, GOOD HARD MUSIC doesn't fit the format either apparently! Entombed, The Duskfall, Shadows Fall, In Flames, Red Tape, Nevermore, Soilwork...the list goes on and on...all better choices than Korn or SOAD, in my opinion. cwsox
At a lot of the groups mentioned are great - for S&R though I think Local H's High Fivin' Mother f***er should get some air time too -

CubKilla
BTW, who the f*** is Half Dollar? The rapper who reportedly had something to do with the murder of Jam Master J. He's fairly new on the scene and does the song with the " .....It's your birthday" lyric at the beginning.
LowerCaseRepublican
You gotta get some POD on your server! Um yeah, POD sucks ass. :puke :puke :puke :puke I really doubt that RPS and SnR want to crap up their station with Christian pseudo-rock. Especially with RPS' stance on religion.
