To tell you the truth, I actually liked it the old way when the whole team came out at once. The crowd get alot louder as they all came out, rather than the cheers broken up for each player.

Its all about a matter of a ride...I'd buy beers and I'd pay for my ticket and you could ditch me because I'm the most hated poster on soxtalk.com...

Nobody cares who is the most hated poster on Soxtalk, because, frankly, nobody comes here to hate people, just to talk Sox baseball. So just stop with it.

Sorry, people really got to me when I umpired today...and when aboz said he was coming up for a game, i changed the subject onto transportation...sorry for saying anything... :crying ...sighs...at least i get to be a DJ and give me hope for anything in this world

-I love the intros when they all go out at once...its the best feeling and i get a chill on my spine...

Yeah, I don't know if I care for the individual announcements either, but the music they've added and cranking up the volume is nice.

That place is going to be rocking for the Cubs series.

I finally got a chance to check out the new starting lineup introductions.  They're definitely going to create a pretty hyped up atmosphere if people ever start coming out to the ballpark!!  We're in 1st place!!! Go to the CELL!!!!

From what I hear they individually announce the players when they run out onto the field?

If so this is a great idea, its how they have done it in Anaheim for years and it gives the fans a reason to cheer the players they really like or in my case boo Eckstein like hell.

I don't mind them as much as I thought I would. What I really didn't care for was the "Get ready for this...." afterwards. When that came on I was expecting to see a floating baseball flying overhead dropping t-shirts. :headshake

What music do they play for each Sox player say when they are pitchin or hittin, I just found this hilarious from the Braves,

When John Smoltz comes out of the Braves’ bullpen, he is greeted by “The Imperial March” from Star Wars (y’know, the music they play when Darth Vader shows up). Very ominous, very intimidating, excellent music for a closer. :lolhitting
