BrandoFan
Before 30? One of the worst position players in baseball. After 30? Awesome. I have a feeling that whatever caused this magical transformation is the secret to success not only in baseball but in any endeavor. Makes me want to be more patient with Borchard and Crede, that's for sure.

I'm so lost trying to figure out who your talking about... What has he done thats so special... He plays for the Orioles. As far as what's he doing? He's only leading the league in Batting average, On base percentage, on base+slugging percentage, and runs. He's also 3rd in the american league in hits. southsider2k5
IIRC didn't he get off to a fast start last year before getting hurt, and limping down the stretch last year?
Brian
I can't believe a lot of people haven't heard of him. He was awesome last year as well but was hurt a few seperate times. He was my #5 pick in my AL only league. I expected him to produce. Sheesh, maybe Hawk is right!

He hasn't gone from being s*** to being one of the better players in the majors, but went from sucking to being a solid ballplayer all with pretty much one adjustment...shortening his swing just a little. Just another reason keeping Crede and Borchard is a pretty good idea. From what I have heard/seen, both have very long swings, which is why they struggle. If they shorten those swings just enough, they could be very good ball players.
whitesoxin'
I picked him up in the late rounds in my fantasy draft. I knew he was a steal, and he has been my most productive player this year with all the injuries to others on my team. He is a stud and can play any position.
