DBAHO
Interesting baseball trade rumor: Kansas City center fielder Carlos Beltran to Philadelphia for center fielder Marlon Byrd and top pitching prospect Gavin Floyd. That deal probably would clinch the NL East for the Phillies. It would be a logical trade because Kansas City can’t afford to retain the soon-to-be free agent Beltran and needs all the good young pitching it can get. But Floyd might be too steep a price for the Phillies to pay if they couldn’t sign Beltran long-term. …
Palehosefan
That would be an awesome 1-2 with Zach Grienke and Gavin Floyd. I really hope they don't make that deal.
Chisoxfn
I'll tell you one thing ,Byrd is a good player and FLoyd has a ton of potential. Beltran is a stud, but that deal would make sense and it also makes sense from the Phillies point of view cause they have a few more pretty damn good pitching prospects if I recall. Greinke and Floyd would be the Royals version of Hudson and Zito/Mulder.

southsider2k5
Let em trade Beltran. Keep adding couldbe's for talent. Let 'em become the Expos.
