Obi-Wan Kenobi
Just out of curiosity, was Carlos still in the game that last half-inning?
cwsox
I'll set the stage: Bases loaded, Carlos Lee has a good lead off second base. After a pitch Lee takes off for third as if he thought the ball 1. was hit, or 2. went behind Molina. Lee realizes half way to third nothing happened and by then Thomas is going towards home (obviously because Carlos f***ed up)....after a run down along the third base line Frank goes back to 3rd. Immediately afterwards Carlos is finally tagged off second base. thank you. no reason for us to be angry at CLee: Frank will take care of him after the game. qwerty
The only positve thing today so far is that the twins lost. Inning over.
Obi-Wan Kenobi
Of course. I asked because I've seen eight-year-olds yanked out of games for much less. If there's one thing that bothers me about the way Sox players are handled by the coaches, it's that nobody is held accountable for his mistakes. If a guy does something stupid, nothing happens. That needs to change. The first step towards playing winning baseball is playing smart baseball. That didn't happen in the fourth inning. whitesoxin'
I left after the fourth inning and come back to see things not much better. I might as well go do something else again.
AngelasDaddy0427
At least for once I can say we're not losing to an inferior team....

elrockinMT
I just logged on. Rausch shows he can't do it either I see. 10 hits in 3 innings and 5 runs in one inning? When is the last time we had someone in the 5th spot who was productive. Heck even semi-productive?
AngelasDaddy0427
I believe that Ozzie is the answer. We are losing because the team is lost without Ozzie. :banghead
HuskyCaucasian
I really dont like this new rule where you can interview a player on-air during a game.

elrockinMT
well at least we wont get shut out Hopefully the guys will get charged up as they have a couple more chances to rally. 4 runs down is not that bad when these guys show their stuff with the bat. elrockinMT
I just scanned the box on MLB game day and see that Valentin struck out all 3 times he has batted. I am a bit concerned about his penchant for the K this year. I really like Jose and what he brings to the team, but it makes you wonder if there is something wrong with his swing, etc, and I wonder if he is on track to set a new strike out record or something. elrockinMT
Neal Cotts walks the first batter he faces and then K's the second guy. These walks to the first hitter our relief corp faces is just sickening. They have got to get that first guy out more.
sox-r-us
Cotts cannot pitch unless he walks someone Which is typically followed by a wild pitch
flippedoutpunk
cmon we just need 1 grand slam
elrockinMT
Neal cmes back real nice and gets 2 k's in the inning. I wish he could have done better as a strater in that chance he had. I believe he will be there by next season at the latest. Good future I believe.
