The Beast
From Rotoworld.com: Jon Rauch - S - White Sox Buy White Sox Tickets White Sox optioned RHP Jon Rauch to Triple-A Charlotte. Just call 'em the Devil Sox. Either Jason Grilli or Josh Stewart could be the team's next fifth starter, even though neither pitched as well as Rauch in Triple-A. The team will probably call up a reliever rather than a starter tomorrow. Jose Santiago and Gary Majewski are two possibilities. May. 29 - 9:14 pm et Jose Santiago's stuff at AAA isn't that bad...neither is Majewski...although I wouldn't see them as No. 5's...Grilli or Stewart would be the most likely of the league of extroadinary gentleman to get called up for pitching... Rex Hudler
The Sox won't need a 5th starter for awhile........ which is why Rauch was going back to Charlotte regardless of how he did today.

Rex, if you don't mind, can you give us the pitching chart for the next two weeks or so... I am going to the Braves series and am interested to know who will be pitching for the Sox in that series. AngelasDaddy0427
Just bring up the Borch. Maggs is hurt and we already have plenty of arms in the pen. We need an outfielder!

aboz56
Are you fricken serious? f***in great Like I said, I don't know what the deal is, he could have re-aggrevated his back injury that kept him out a few games prior to his hot streak; all I know is that he left the game early last night (replaced by Super Mario) and didn't play tonight. That really pisses me off if he is injured. He's finally starting to play well and live up to some of his potential and now he might be injured again.... damn I really feel bad for the guy. SoxAce
Does anyone think Reed could get a call and start a couple games in right field? (Sorry, I just want to see this kid play ) BTW, I wouldn't mind Stewart in the 5th starters spot but that spot won't be nessesary for a bit I see. Heads22
I certainly think Reed could be a possibility. We have 1 (maybe 2) roster spots opening up. If Maggs goes down, it just may be Reed.
