FlaSoxxJim
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/5111535/ That's a good token show of the theater chain's committment to keeping the film from being pirated. But it will be pirated nonetheles, probably by a theater venue assistant manager offered a wad of money to pirate it or allow someone else to do it suring an unscheduled after hours screening. FlaSoxxJim
As a comment to the poll on this page, I can't wait to see "I, Robot." They're making the wrong Asimov folm there. They should be doing Foundation instead. That is just my opinion, but of course that means it is correct.

I also wished they hadn't have screwed up Mission Earth so badly (John Travolta :puke ) as that was an incredible book as well.

You mean "Battlefield Earth" by dead but-but-still-putting-out-books Dianetics Daddy L. Ron Hubbard, right? Never read it in high school when it came out. It had way too many pages. Of course I never thought twice about rereading LOTR or the Dune books several times over, it was just the shock of seeing 1000+ pages in one book I guess. I heard the movie sucked mightily and I stayed away.

I heard the movie sucked mightily and I stayed away. Battlefield Earth was the name of that book and movie. And whoever told you to stay away from the movie was dead on right. But I can't praise the book enough. Mission Earth was a 10 book series (talk about fear of reading) that was done by Hubbard as well and was the best sci-fi I ever read. It was supposed to be set much earlier in time, but involved the same planet of people. I recommened it if you have time on your hands. Hubbard might have been a wacko, but man could he write.
