BigHurt4evah
hey, this has been buggin me for awhile... I want answers! Does anybody knows anything about the Big Hurt taking his on deck swings with that big piece of metal? It looks like a piece of rebar. I think this is something he started last year, cause I remember him usin a donut in the 90's. anybody know ANYTHING about this? (i.e. why? when?) Same principle as the bat donut..... only the piece of metal must be heavy as hell since Hurt's arms and shoulders buckle when he is on the down swing. As to the why, it's simple..... swinging a heavy bar makes swinging a light bat that much easier and explosive for Frank. He can get that baseball bat around much faster as a result. I think he's been using that for a few years now..... probably because they don't make 50 lb. bat donuts.
BigHurt4evah
well I mean I play baseball, know why you use a donut, but like since when did Frank start usin this in his training regimen? it must work. and it's pretty scary knowin a 6'4", 240 pound man can walk around buying giant metal sticks. haha. WhiteSoxPride3035
It acts just like a doughnut. It is heavy and makes a real bat feel like a feather. Yeah, and Jim, thanks for giving me nightmares about the Big Hurt attacking me with a heavy piece of metal! I can;t sleep now !

Bighurt52235
I know that Frank has been using that thing for awhile. And, he is much bigger than 6'4", 240 pounds. He's a MONSTER!
BigHurt4evah
haha, actually he's maybe 6'2 if he's lucky. I've met him several times, and he's not much taller than me. (I'm a 5'10-5'11 16 year-old). Anyways, he's pretty solid though. I don't doubt he's big, but there's no way on earth he's bigger than 6'4" (his listed height). I would actually doubt he's even 6'4"
