MnSoxFan
Shafer, who I am guessing is another Duane Shafer kid, was rated 5th best prospect in state of Kentucky.
Palehosefan
Not a whole lot out there on Acosta, but apparently is 5'11 170 pounds and is 21 years old, hits and throws right handed. From the box scores I've seen, he apparently hit cleanup for his team.
Cerbaho-WG
Shafer, who I am guessing is another Duane Shafer kid, was rated 5th best prospect in state of Kentucky. I think I heard that this is not Duane Shafer's kid. COuld be wrong though. Everly was drafted twice by the Sox, solid pickup. Hear anything on Van Pope? BA rated him the 3rd best JuCo draft and follow.
MnSoxFan
Oh, it was Van Pope who was rated that highly, I thought maybe it was the guy from Idaho. Good catch, could not find that online in BA, but I read it in the print copy. Have not heard anything on him. As Rex said on our other board, Duane Shaffer is from Californa, so likely not a relation, in fact spelled differently I think.
