greasywheels121
JReed's rule: Here's the rule for all everyone on this site out there: Don't post anything (perfect game or no-hitter) till they finish the 6th inning. That's when you get serious. It worked with me starting a thread for Randy Johnson, and maybe it will work the next time. There's always exceptions....Prior's PERFECT through 3 against Pittsburgh! Kid Gleason
Heh, two threads should surely get him rocked. Or does that cancel out the jinx???

Kid Gleason
I just bounced over to the Cubs site to check the score and such. Ummm, was Fogg drunk when they did that headshot or what???
Flash Tizzle
God dammit Pirates, you're only playing into the hands on the Cub-loving media but refusing to hit Prior. Prior perfect through 4.

Queen Prawn
I hear the ump behind the plate has been extremely generous with the strike calls for Prior. Surprise, surprise, eh?
Flash Tizzle
Mackowiak should of drop kicked Barrett.

Flash Tizzle
Prior looks so goofy in the batters box. No matter, he'll strike out anyways.

Flash Tizzle
What a catch by Redman in CF! Beautiful, full extension diving grab that definitely saved a run.
greasywheels121
The Cubs are 1-7 after an offday. Steve Stone comments saying, "It'll most likely go over to 2-7 after today." 0-0 through 5 2/
Flash Tizzle
Ordonez misplays a grounder and the inning continues. This may be Priors last inning; lets put together a rally Pirates and give him the loss.

Two outs; SS bobbles the ball.....All hell breaks loose

Flash Tizzle
Should be 2 outs, runner on first and second. Now this game has evolved into a bases loaded, one out situation. Umpires have decided Prior is destined to win this.
