Nice game again for Flores, the tall kid for Kanny. Been doing a nice job. Nice relief for Kanny too, Dizard, Deininger and Wasserman. Big homer for Young.

Rauch only goes 5, homer for Borchard, big game for Nelson.

A few more good games for Borch and you've gotta figure he's gonna be up.

Here's how I think it's going to play out.

Borchard is going to be staying at AAA unless we really start to struggle until at least July 1. At that point, if there hasn't been a deal already, it will have already been determined if he's going to be dealt or not, and they will do with JB whatever fits thier plan for the future with him. He's no doubt going to be dangled around to other teams while we are looking for SP.

I think he may be a guy Seattle quietly covets.

I'd really like a deal to get done without him, but if that's what it takes to put the big club over the top, I'd have to say goodbye and good luck to JB.

I think your right, there is definately a good possibility that Joe Borchard is in Seattle and I think Jon rauch will be part of whatever trade made. However, the loss of maggs could put the Sox in a spot where they hold onto one of their outfielders.

Borchard is making big time strides right now, so I'd rather see someone else go, however, if Borchard is the guy that makes the deal a deal, then go for it. I really hope he turns into the player everyone thought he will be and he does it in a Sox uniform.

I think Borchard is the one who gets traded, I think they keep him in AAA to keep the numbers improving. I gotta believe you trade him now, his value is at its highest in some time. KW said in a different article that Reed is untouchable.

I'm not entirely convinced JB's not going anywhere. There's no doubt that JB was hearing all of the rumors. I think this may just be to get joe to relax and just keep playing ball. He's been known to press too much, and if his mind is on other things like being traded, or whether he'll be called up or not, he's not going to perform.
