Al Lopez Ghost (old)
The last few years Frank has been mediocre at best on the road. Not so this year. AB R H 2b HR RBI W K OBP SLG AVG Home 79 20 23 5 9 15 25 18 .467 .696 .291 Road 85 17 26 7 3 18 23 14 .464 .494 .306 IF he keeps that up, it's a huge lift for the club compared to the last couple of years. witesoxfan
.350 50 150 isn't looking good (so far). But .320 40 130 is still a definite possibility. For only caring about homers, he sure does get a lot of singles.

For only caring about homers, he sure does get a lot of singles. I really want to see him get to 500 HRs, and I want to see him do it in a Sox uni. It's pretty cool to see him hitting .300 again, (well .299 right now); he's got some solid offensive numbers right now. --Ranks 6th in AL in HR (12) --Ranks 1st in AL in OBP (.465) --Ranks 3rd in AL in OPS (1.057) --Ranks 4th in AL in SLG (.591) --Ranks 1st in AL in BB (48)
The Critic
Frank has been outstanding, and I am VERY glad to see his resurgence. If he just worries about getting solid swings, his power numbers will be there. I thought he kinda cheated himself last year when he focused on homers. He is his most dangerous when he's poking those pitchers pitches into RF for bloop singles cause...... A. He's not trying to pull them and missing or popping up B. He's gonna see more fastballs and stuff he can actually drive cause pitchers cant get him out with the outside stuff.
YASNY
B. He's gonna see more fastballs and stuff he can actually drive cause pitchers cant get him out with the outside stuff. And that is the key to a successful Frank Thomas.
