The Beast
I don't care how much we're paying him. He has to be either put on DL, sent to AAA to get his s*** together (again) or be released or sent to a NL team for a very marginal prospect. He's going to ruin our season almost single handedly. Like s***-faced Konerko in '03?
elrockinMT
The Sunday night was as ugly as it gets as far as Koch in the 9th. I have stuck with this guy since we got him even though I was a big fan of Keith Foulke. He failed last year. He failed in the first game this year. He started to improve, but Oakland on Tuesday and Sunday in Seattle and Koch blew them both. A closer is just that-he comes in the 9th inning with his team in the lead by a run or two and he shuts down the other team. Koch can't do the job. The Sox were on national TV tonight fols and we saw them in all their glory. Couldn't get runners in and it came back to haunt them when Koch came to blow it in the 9th. Billy is not a closer and should not be there in closer situations again period. Takatsu and Marte are my choices. If they pitch Billy it should be in middle relief. Trade bait maybe if someone is craxy enough to take him. The ESPN guys (Morgan especially) said that Koch wasn't fooling anyone tonight with his stuff. How true. greg775
There's no reason to use him again. I mean ... is he gonna find lightning in a bottle?? We all watched the game. The guy was throwing a meatball fastball. Could it have been over 84? I say no way. His breaking ball was horrific. And like somebody said, he didn't hold runners. I like the guy personally and don't think people should boo him. Boo KW and I guess Oz if he's used again. They are at fault. Koch is trying; he is just no good. DonkeyKongerko
Velocity was not the problem. Tom Gordon throws mid nineties like Koch. Tom Gordon also has a hammer of a breaking ball and the ability to get ahead of hitters and PITCH goddammit. I think I've almost gotten over this loss but f*** You Billy Koch if you ever pitch again in a save situation for this team.
greg775
Donkey, I might be seeing things, but I didn't think he had any velocity tonight. It looked like BP fastballs. His out out was a bullet to Jose V. I keep hearing he's got good velocity then I finally get to see a game on TV tonight and it's all meat. witesoxfan
Perhaps I see differently than ALL of YOU guys, CHEAT... Perhaps. Only a few of us are blessed with common sense. Rowand is the weakest Outfielder in the MLB. I think he is a discrace to be on the White Sox ball club. He's better then Timo Perez, I guaran-f***ing-tee you that. And he hits lefties well. So he's not the worst. See, that common sense thing is biting you in the ass again. Crede is horrible. He had a few so-so years, and maybe some signs of breaking out, but still, he's a piece of s***. LMFAO...this is Crede's 2nd full year in the bigs...you make him out to be some veteran who's been on 5 or 6 different teams and has never made it. Common sense. He's like 26...one adjustment to his swing, and he's good as gold. If he never makes it, so be it...we move on. No big deal. Koch...dude, I just said he was a human being, people make mistakes You're right. I can forgive ONE mistake. Billy Koch has made about 20-25 HUGE mistakes in a year and a half. I'm sick of the bulls***, and if you had any common sense, you'd be sick of his bulls*** too. ...READ...DID I EVER SAY BILLY IS THE BEST! NO. No, but you sure as hell are sounding like you think that he is Koch makes $6 mill...about 10x as much as Rowand and Crede COMBINED. Koch has less room for error then Rowand and Crede, yet he's making more errors(also known as mistakes). Rowand and Crede have trade value...Koch has none. Therefore, if Rowand and Crede are pieces of s***, then what is Koch? 4 pieces of s***? :dips***
YASNY
I yield. I give up. I surrender. This team can't win with Koch as a closer. He turned a 3-2 west coast trip to a 1-4 trip. This situation has to be addressed and changed. Give it to Takatsu. Let Jackson set up along with Marte. Relegate Koch to the same role he had with JM late last year. :headshake
NUKE_CLEVELAND
New idea for Brooks Boyer: Koch Bobblehead Demolition Night How bout we just strap C4 to Botch Boy in center field one night and detonate him instead? I bet you all the cash in my wallet that'd be a sellout.

NUKE_CLEVELAND
It's like I said at the beginning of the season. Billy Botch needs to spend the rest of his time with the Sox down in the basement of the Cell somewhere washing jock straps & ironing uniforms. This s***bag couldn't close a f***ing door & is the sorriest excuse for a pitcher I've ever seen.
NUKE_CLEVELAND
Next time Botch has the balls to ask for the ball in a tough spot Ozzie should hand him one of these deals here & tell him "Get downstairs b****, there's uniforms fresh out of the dryer that need ironing." Yoda
I"m hoping more for a car crash than released right now. I still say a sniper should shoot his mother-f***ing arm. Who knows? Billy might be thinking about committing suicide at any moment. No one likes him and he knows it.

My suggestion about the starters beaning him to death was a joke and I hope everyone took it as such ( That was pretty silly and intended to try to make some humor out of a really bad situation & yes in my infinite wisdom I forgot the green ) but you actually sound serious & that's way over the top there killer. NUKE_CLEVELAND
Beastly what in gods flying f*** world are you talking about. Are you a man?????? Thank you and have a nice day. He's a little child who has no comprehension of anything of any consequense. I mean look at him. He's worried about hurting the feelings of someone who makes 6.5 million dollars a season. With cash like that you can go out and buy yourself a nice thick skin, maybe he can loan Beastly some so he can go buy a clue.

Hello... you’re online! When I posted that I was nearly laughing since everyone else was talking about Koch being strapped in C4. How bout we just strap C4 to Botch Boy in center field one night and detonate him instead? I bet you all the cash in my wallet that'd be a sellout. That statement came out of you. If you were just joking around then I’m pretty sure I was joking around as well. Once again, this is the Internet.

Let me get back to you on that one. I wouldn't mind seeing him go on the DL though. A slip in the shower? A household accident ( That's pretty broad huh? )? Maybe a hangnail?
