Nice move to first also, it already looks better than Schoenweis's move.... But is it better than Billy Koch's? But seriously, for a moment, I can't comment about Arnie Munoz having never seen him pitch. But if Munoz has a curve that's half as good as Gio's, my expectations just raised for him a lot. Chisoxfn Posted June 8, 2004 Author Share Posted June 8, 2004 Correct me if I'm wrong, but the reason they probably didn't take Szymanski is purely money based, and probably because they wanted mostly pitching after taking Fields in round one. That or they may of had both rated similarly and Szymanski is probably a little more raw. Plus Fields does also fill a need in the organizatoin. Need is something I don't like to look at typically, but if two playesr rate out similarly then you look at signability and organizational strength, imo.
