Rex Hudler
Barring a trade in the next few days, Arnie will be on the bump for the Sox on Saturday.
southsider2k5
Barring a trade in the next few days, Arnie will be on the bump for the Sox on Saturday. What do you think Rex, is this good or bad? I have mixed feelings personally.
CubsSuck1
Hmmm, I think this could be pretty exciting. Hopefully he breaks our 5th starter curse for the season so far.
Cali
Well this one has disaster written all over it, a guy who just started starting this year? I just hope he doesn't hang a bunch of curves out there. I do wish him luck though because who really knows?
WHarris1
Alright. Let's hope we don't ruin this guy. Go Arnie!
Nokona
Come on Arnie. Give up 3 over 6 and you'll satisfy me.
CubsSuck1
Personally, I only refer to him as Arnaldo
Soxfest
He deserves a chance.
Mr. Showtime
Why is it that I always have to work when a new guy starts? Rex, have you heard any whispers of a trade coming soon?
SoxAce
Go get em Arnie..
Gene Honda Civic
When was the last time Arnie saw action, Rex? Did he go out of the pen yesterday or today to get on schedule?
knightni
I guess Ozzie is against trying out Adkins then....?
southsider2k5
I guess Ozzie is against trying out Adkins then....? He said after the Cotts debacle he didn't want to screw up the pen again.
qwerty
Why is it that I always have to work when a new guy starts? Rex, have you heard any whispers of a trade coming soon? You know what the outcome is gonna be when a new guy starts But anyway go arnie!!!
Gene Honda Civic
You know what the outcome is gonna be when a new guy starts But anyway go arnie!!! Actually Arnie is the guy I have the most confidence in coming up. He has the best "stuff" of anyone we've brought up. He's had a Major League curveball for a least the last 2 years. The best curveball in the organization.
SoxAce
Gio Gonzalez and Munoz have killer curves. We'll see both of them pitch when it's all said and done.
dasox24
Best of luck to Arnie! I hope the 5th starter actually wins us a game! If he at least lasts 6 innings and keeps us in the game (assuming we have some offense that day), I'd be more than happy.
greasywheels121
Nice. I just hope the Sox figured out to let him go on his usual rest, and not give him a freakin' month off between appearances.
DBAHO
Nice. I just hope the Sox figured out to let him go on his usual rest, and not give him a freakin' month off between appearances. We all hope that's the case, should of been with Diaz and Rauch in the 1st place. If it isn't, expect Munoz to have a very rough 1st outing. Rex Hudler
Nice. I just hope the Sox figured out to let him go on his usual rest, and not give him a freakin' month off between appearances. He threw two innings tonight, which will mean he will throw on three days rest, but after a very limited outing.
Gene Honda Civic
He threw two innings tonight, which will mean he will throw on three days rest, but after a very limited outing. So he's on the same ridiculous schedule as the other's we've brought up before. :banghead :banghead :banghead
mac9001
Seriously, who the f*** keeps making these f***ed up decisions to pitch these guys for an inning or two and then pitch them on short rest. Completely retarded IMO.
