Texsox
I was just going to PM, but I think others may be interested, how were the men selected to escort President Reagan's Caisson? I am watching the procession to the Capitol and it is amazing display, the tradition, everything is so moving.

Obviously they take the best they have.
Texsox
I assume Honor Guard is a requested assignment. Is it the same detail that, for example, guards the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier? I'm not very good at reading insignia but it seemed like there was a mix of enlisted men and officers, is that correct? What are some of the other assignments the Honor Guard would have? How many are in the unit?
