Texsox
your avatar - I have a huge framed poster of that in my living room. I am so frightened by that. I stopped hanging music posters when I was 20. Tell me it is at least framed and not stuck with four mis-matched thumb tacks
witesoxfan
And Barry Bonds' is thru the roof. Yeah, what is it nowadays, like 1.300+? That's insane. 1.000 is very good, 1.100 is damn near unreachable, 1.200 is sickingly good, but 1.300? That's like Ruth-ian good.

Queen Prawn
When a woman hangs a poster it's decorating WooHoo! Brian hung up his Mercury (the car, not Freddy) posters, that's not unmanly or immature, is it?

Around the age of 21, buy some frames, cut your poster collection in half, hang up fewer, but better posters. 30 Again cut it in half. Add some art work to your house that doesn't come rolled up from Wal*mart 40 You're kids have bankrupted you, sneak into their room and look at the posters Currently playing in my kids room Beatles White Album, Some Clash, Ramones, Who, and Yellow Card. Tell me it is at least framed and not stuck with four mis-matched thumb tacks Mismatched tacks is nothing compared to the yellow sticky goo that my brother left on the walls when he went to college. The crap was supposed to come right off, but it ended up costing my dad two days of reaptching the walls of the entire room. His walls AND ceiling were completely lined with posters. I am definetly more for the framed stuff. Post 2,
IlliniKrush
They make you use that yellow stuff in the dorms of U of I, i haven't had any problems getting it off walls in my experience. Perhaps if it's left on for years upon years it could cause some damage i guess.

Sorry to interrupt your guys's veyr interesting discussion on posters and yellow stick-tack, but I had to comment on this. I thought Bonds's OPS was 1.300+. Well, it is. In fact, it is 1.454. I believe(and I may be wrong in this), that if the season ended tomorrow, and Bonds ended at 1.454, it would be the best OPS for a single season all-time. I only checked Ruth's career totals(because he has the highest career OPS of all-time, I figured that would be the wisest choice), and the highest he ever had was in the 1.300's. 1.454 is insane. Now back to your discussion.
whitesoxin'
I use normal tape when the poster is on my doors, and the tacks when hanging on the walls. I have a few of them framed, but that is only if they are autographed or something along those lines. I had to look up what OPS was a few weeks ago because I wasn't sure either. Bonds has had some great years but the steroid investigation has to play out before we can even be sure we're supposed to count them.
