Gene Honda Civic
By my calculations, with the rainout, everyone should be rested sufficiently enough to not need a 5th starter until the 19th.

Well, there's good news. On the 19th our fifth starter would pitch against the anemic offense of the Montreal Expos.

greasywheels121
Well for now, we know it would be Munoz pitching on the 19th. I hope the Sox NOW get it right, and let him pitch his normal amount on his usual rest.
greasywheels121
http://whitesox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/cws/new...s_cws&fext=.jsp The door to the White Sox clubhouse swung open just minutes after Thursday's series finale against the Phillies was postponed due to rain. Manager Ozzie Guillen walked out and immediately began talking about the dreaded fifth starter slot. "Schoeneweis and Loaiza are backed up one day," Guillen said. "So, we don't need a fifth starter. Hopefully, we will have Sandy Koufax for next week." There's a better-than-average chance that Koufax won't be coming out of retirement to pitch for the White Sox in Montreal next Saturday night. Arnie Munoz, 21, looked to be the choice against the Braves, posting a 6-2 record with a 2.13 ERA in 12 starts for Double-A Birmingham. But a great deal can happen in terms of personnel moves before June 19.

Damn. I was so hopeful we'd sign Koufax. You'd think his arm would have healed by now.
