SoxAce
Predictions suck. I can predict we can win the world series. That doesn't mean s***. BTW, glad he even mentioned us..

SoxAce
Red Sox or White Sox. Come on DBAH0. Common sense here..
WHarris1
Did he say or give an idea for who? Nope, he just said he thinks it's the best fit.

DBAHO
Come on DBAH0. Common sense here.. Hey, the Red Sox have way more of a chance getting Beltran. He'll be going to the Dodgers, Padres or Red Sox come July.
danman31
He said it because it made sense. That doesn't mean he thinks it will happen because the teams have been talking or the Sox are interested. It's hard to argue it makes sense for anyone who trades for him. Though I personally don't get what all the stink about him is. He has never had 30 HRs in his career, he's only bat .300 twice, he is batting .274 this season, his highest OB% was .389 last season. Sure he's good, but he's no All-Star or superstar like everyone keeps saying. He's 27, he's not that young either where I would expect him to bust out and hit .330 with 40+ HRs. JoshPR
I think Mr. Reynolds doesn't wanna look like an Ass after he PREDICTED That the Royals would win the Central. So he's stating the Obvious about the Sox being the best fit for Beltran. That doesn't mean he'll be a Whitesox
DBAHO
Since Harold Reynolds predicted it, it ain't gonna happen.
Wise Master Buehrle
Would that make things interesting or what?
CWSGuy406
Would that make things interesting or what? If we got Beltran we'd have one interesting situation. Because then, I'd presume, we'd have Maggs in right, Beltran in center, Lee in left. Harris would probably move to second - forming a platoon at short, or moving Crede to the bench permanently? Probably not worth discussion since it probably won't happen, but I'm just throwing it out there.
Xero
Carlos in left, Beltran in center, Mags in right Uribe at 2nd, Willie at SS buh bye Jose

JoshPR
If Willie Plays short than God Help us. Leave Valentin where he is. I still kinda think Uribe is a Fluke
CWSOX45
If this trade did happen imagine the line-up! 1. Harris 2B 2. Uribe 3B 3. Ordoñez RF 4. Thomas DH 5. Beltran CF 6. Lee RF 7. Konerko 1B 8. Valentin SS 9. Olivo C That's one hell of a line-up.
DBAHO
We are NOT goin to get Beltran. Kansas City wants at least a good third baseman and catcher prospects and more. I still think he goes to the Padres for Sean Burroughs, Xavier Nady and Joe Randa goes the other way. If the Mets want to offer David Wright, then they will prob get Beltran. We can give them Josh Fields. Oh wait we can't trade him yet.... It would be funny if the A's traded for Beltran. The Royals have really been a minor league team for the A's (Damon, Dye). The Royals have really been a minor league team for the A's (Damon, Dye). That could actually still be possible. If the A's gave up Barry Zito and their 3rd base prospect Mark Teahen who has been tearin up AA and is now in AAA, they could certainly get Beltran.
