Goober
don't know if this has been posted but they signed their sandwich picks and some other ones. White Sox announce draft signings
Gene Honda Civic
Nope -- that's brand new news. Or at least it's official now. The Gonzalez pick looks like a great one now that he's signed.
T R U
Anyone know the situation with Fields?
southsider2k5
WOW. That is practically their entire draft slate minus a few guys. BTW from the rumors floating around, the Sox and Fields are close and they are also throwing the enticement of sending Josh straight to Winston Salem if he signs quickly. Palehosefan
I've never seen that many agree to sign so quickly. Thats awesome. Gives us alot of time to focus on the other players we really want to sign. Normally we are lucky to sign 20-25 a year.

Palehosefan
If you are wanting to post something exactly from another site you can use the " " tag to make it post exactly, or atleast that should work. hmm, I just copied and pasted it from the chisox site and it worked. What HTML tags does this site use? () or or is it automaticly generated?
Gene Honda Civic
You have to add the UBB code *dohtml* tag... Replace the "*" with "[" and "]" Just like all other UBB tags, you should have an opening and closing tags. [tagname] [/tagname]... to place html into a post, replace "tagname" with "dohtml" and paste html portion between the tags.
Palehosefan
So basically I'm just replacing with *dohtml*, * being []?

CWSGuy406
Sweet - Gio Gonzo is officially a Lil' Sock!
Chisoxfn
It will be interesting to see where Lumsden and him report. I've heard they will be in Kanny, but I've also heard they could start at Great Falls with a later season promotion. However, with Lamura being promoted to Birmingham, their is an even greater need for WS to get some pitching from Kanny. I got a feeling both will be starting their careers in Kanny. Here's the link to FS's article on the signings. Not too in depth. Tomorrow were going to begin work on the entire draft review http://www.futuresox.com/modules.php?op=mo...article&sid=

DBAHO
Sweet - Gio Gonzo is officially a Lil' Sock! Getting Sweeney and Gonzo have been big steals and to get them signed is even better. Looks like another good draft this yearm with our main aim's accomoplished. We got an impact player early in a position of need in Fields, and we restocked our farm system in pitching which is what we needed to do. dasox24
Tomorrow were going to begin work on the entire draft review Hell yeah! Ya'lls draft review last year was awesome! I can't wait for this years! Oh, and by the way, are ya'll gonna rate our top 50 prospects this year like you did last year?
whitesox61382
Signing Gonzalez and Allen was big. Those two were the biggest question marks IMO(of the top 10 picks). Now if the Sox can get Fields, Lucy, Russel, and Riggs signed(the only other picks that I REALLY want to see signed), than I will be very happy. danman31
Oh, and by the way, are ya'll gonna rate our top 50 prospects this year like you did last year? Yeah. The plan was to get it out earlier, but we had some delays and Jason basically became a lazy bum. Well ok, I lied, he already was a lazy bum. He just showed it in this case. I found the stats on a bunch of the guys and took care of the formatting and cerb and others that I can't remember (sorry guys) did write ups on the guys. Basically it was almost done and then by the time Jason was going to get around to posting it, the rankings were not updated and a lot of the write ups were out of date. We should get it going after the draft because that postponed updating the top 50.

The top 50 won't be done until after the draft preview, but I expect it to be done in the 2nd half of the season Thanks for the kind words

dasox24
Thanks. I share it with Ricardo Nanita. Watch him hit a couple HRs today. Actually, I think that he might have gotten hurt last night. I'm not positive, but he came out of the game after only 1 at-bat. So, that makes me think he got hurt.
