soxman352000
Anyone else happy we didn't pay this guy the money he is was asking for. He has a 4-4 record and an ERA of 6. He is giving up about a run an inning to the Cubs and can't locate any pitches. Honestly Bartolo get your act back together.

whitesoxin'
Colon and Ponson, the two fatasses we almost signed have gotten shelled this year. Ponson has the worst ERA for any starter in the bigs this year. :puke

Jordan4life_2007
Cubs win 10-5. I watched most of the game. Bartolo got rocked. I'm not talkin about cheap hits. The Cubs were hitting rockets all over the field. I guess it's easy to say it's a good thing NOW that we didn't sign him. But, I would still want him pitching for me late in the year or in the post-season.
Jordan4life_2007
Did anybody know that Vlad Guerrero is a .235 career hitter with 1 grand slam during his career with the bases loaded? I was SHOCKED when I saw those numbers.

I was SHOCKED when I saw those numbers. I'll take Robin Ventura or Jose Valentin w/ the Bases Loaded. Ventura .337 16HR's in 181AB's Valentin .323 9HR's in 99AB's
Wise Master Buehrle
It's really funny because Angels fans are PISSED OFF, majorly, who can blame them? Moreno could be a good owner, but he can also be a sucker.
Wise Master Buehrle
This would be my letter: Dear Bartolo, there are many children starving in third world countries around the world, yet you continue to make money for pitching out of your butt. Then you use the money to grub down at an all-you-can-eat buffet. If I weighed the same as my salary, I'd at least donate some of it to a charity. Or at least I'd get libo-suction. With Love, Bumpy Grimes Sounds a lot like us.

If our "ace" was throwing like that, AND taking money away that MIGHT be used next year on other FA's, I don't think we, as Sox fans, would be thinking much about the playoffs this year at all. Texsox
Me too, what a waste of money that would have been So what is everyone doing with their share of the extra money? Colon was replaced by Wright. Last year 6 wins out of the #5 starter wins the division. Colon is gone, we now have zero wins from Wright, Diaz, Rauch, Cotts. 3 or 4 wins would have us with a lead in the division. Colon replaced Scott Schoeneweiss, which means Sox would be 2 1/2 games out of 1st right about now, and NO money to add at the ASB break. After his lights out bullpen sessions in 2003, Danny Wright was gonna be our league minimum-making 5th starter. Show was to be the odd man out.
