DBAHO
Mayb no Maggs to the Mets after all, from the Newark Stark Ledger, "While the Mets are searching for an offensive player to add punch to their sagging lineup, the Astros have offered them outfielder Richard Hidalgo. According to two baseball officials with knowledge of the situation, the Astros are looking to move Hidalgo and his $12.5 million contract out of Houston, and have called the Mets to see if there is a match." DBAHO
Just another overpaid Cliff Floyd and Mike Cameron to join in the OF. Mike Cameron will be majorly pissed if they get Beltran to play center field and he has to shift to right. I can't see that happenin now. I think the Astros are willin to absorb some of Hidalgo's salary as well to move him.
