aboz56
On tonight's broadcast on ESPN Radio 1000, Ed Farmer stated that Magglio worked out before tonight's game and is a week away from returning to the White Sox lineup. If this is the case, we'll have him back just in time for the Cubs-Sox series at US Cellular next weekend. Great news to hear.

greasywheels121
That is awesome news! I was worried that I wouldn't see him, when I go to a couple games the first week in July! That's great to hear Mags is going to have such a speedy recovery.

Brian
Awesome if true! I am not really surprised cuz when i has my knee scoped, they said I could play ball again in 8 weeks and I was back in 3. Modern medicine is amazing.

SoxFan1
Let him take his time coming back. I do not want him unless he is 100% and I surewly dont want him to reinjure that knee. But, if he comes back healthy, SWEET!!!!!!!!!

And he does what a fifth outfielder is suppose to do hit .250 and have decent defense which he does.

AngelasDaddy0427
If it was not for timo we may have not won yesterday. And he does what a fufth outfielder is suppose to do hit .250 and have decent defense which he does. I'm sick of all of this support Timo just because he happened to hit a HR. Two times there were fly balls that he could of had a shot at had he moved but he just stood there. One went foul while Konerko hustled for it... The other dropped for a single. ...and it doesn't matter that it didn't score lead to a run. Mistakes can hurt you and it's ridiculious that we should ignore it just because it didn't hurt us that time. The fact is even if Rowand and Gload wouldn't of had it they would of at least tried. If Timo finds he has to run it seems he'll just give up lately. Timo needs to discover something called hustle, otherwise there is no room for him on this team. I don't care if he does have a lucky hr once in a blue moon.
greasywheels121
Stop with the bulls***. You mentioned in an earlier post that Timo is just your "project" for the year, as Daubach was last year. Enough with the Timo bashing. We would not have won last night's game without Timo. Carlos Lee didn't extend his hitting streak, why don't you bash him? AngelasDaddy0427
Carlos went after a fly ball that was hit right to him. Timo was the only only one that just stood their.
qwerty
How in the hell do you know he wasnt trying?? See, this is why I jump on your posts. You make statements about things you have no idea are true. Timo isnt a great fielder, but he wasnt brought here to be. He is the 4th, mabye 5th outfielder for this team(Gload). He had a CLUTCH Hr last night that without it it would have been a big L in the record books. I cant understand how you can say you know that Timo just doesnt try. I agree to me it seems like he is hustling for the ball whenever i see him.

I don't care if he does have a lucky hr once in a blue moon. Timo Supremo has been an extremely valuable player on this eam. He has been extremely clutch for us this year. He also hustles his little ass off and has good speed. He's a million times better than armando rios! so stop bashing him.
Gene Honda Civic
He also hustles his little ass off You need your eyes checked. I've run out of fingers and toes for the number of times I've seen Timo doggin' it. Sure he's been clutch, but how about running hard to first base? How about running hard to a flyball in the gap? How about using two hands to make a catch? These are the little things I'd expect to see a guy who wants playing time do. I haven't seen it. /can't believe I just defended Jeckle. If football players can come back in 2 weeks after undergoing arthroscopic precedure, why couldn't a baseball player be back in a month? Will he be DH-ing with Paulie moving to 3B? Cheat - I, like you, don't like the way he doesn't hustle it out to first base and how he likes to catch the ball in the OF. But I'll bash him when he drops one like that. Jeckle - what happened to that whole, voice of reason thing?
