Jordan4life_2007
I ain't got s*** to say. We were totally dominated by this guy. And if anybody hasn't started to notice. Beckett is comin off the dl soon. Burnett is gettin back to his 2002 form. Add those 2 with Willis, Penny, and Povano and you got one hell of a staff. They got a decent pen aided by a dynamite closer. BEWARE OF THE MARLINS COME PLAYOFF TIME.

Jordan4life_2007
Umm, Beckett is starting tommorw, so I dont know what you mean about the DL talk. Hey, Pavano was super solid tonight, not much more you can say. MIAMI (AP) -- Florida ace Josh Beckett, on the 15-day disabled list because of a blister on the middle finger of his right hand, will start Thursday night against the Chicago White Sox. Beckett threw another bullpen session Tuesday and reported no problems, clearing the way for his return. That's what I meant. I however didn't know he was starting tomorrow. This is just great. Lets hope he doesn't dominate us the way he did that "other" Chicago team 3 times last year.
redandwhite
He's finally living up to his "trade for Pedro" label. I know he had it in him, he's going to be a cheap prize come free agency.

They need Chad Fox bad from his shoulder injury, and they're trying to get Contreas to setup in the pen. They could use another arm. I'm quite sure they'll go out and make whatever moves they need just like last year. Either way. They're gonna be formidable.

I know the sox will not even try to get pavano but they should seriously look into getting him once free agency rolls around.

Definitly, but now that I think about it, he could draw Escobar money which is probably too much for the White Sox, especially with Loaiza left unsigned. Jordan4life_2007
f*** Pavano. I'd like to have Beckett instead. What he did in the post season last year was LEGENDARY.

Jordan4life_2007
Escobar got quite a bit of money for not being all to great. True. But compared to what the 2 FAT BOYS Colon and Ponson got. He's atleast been somewhat worth it.

They really suck this year. Colons excuse is he eats too many tacos, but what excuse does Ponson have

witesoxfan
I would love to add Pavano to the staff. The only team, IMO, that can really compare to the Cubs rotation is the Marlins. The only team. Period.

Period. A healthy Red Sox rotation ain't too bad, but I'll definitly agree with you on that. Florida's is sick, and the Cubs is just not fair. Florida's is sick, and the Cubs is just not fair. 1-4 the Red Sox stands up, but 5(I think the Red Sox is Arroyo?) is where they fall off. 1-4 is all you need for the playoffs, hell, all you really need with a real good staff is 1-3. Having a deep-ass starting rotation is good for the postseason in the fact that it then deepens your bullpen.
JUGGERNAUT
I'm getting worried. With Maggs on the DL & Crede stinking the SOX are at a great loss in NL parks. When Thomas sits it puts a great burden on Konerko to perform. I believe we should bite the bullet D & start Thomas at 1st & Koney at 3rd. If we have the lead after 6 we can put Crede in at 3rd & move Koney to 1st. If Thomas doesn't hit the 3 run homer in the 8th on Thurs we don't win that game. His presence in the lineup is crucial to the success of this team. Can we afford to play these next 4 games with a weaker lineup?
CWSGuy406
I didn't see the game tonight - but I heard Frank didn't play: a.) Who hit third, fourth, fifth? b.) Why didn't he play?
