HawkDJ
Well Whitesox.com has a little info but basically it only says Koch,Colon,Buehrle and Garland pitched, everyone is healthy and Daubach and Miles were impressive.

KipWellsFan
Well I read Josh Paul hit a homer off of Josh Stewart who worked 2 innings.
MurcieOne
Stewart is officially sent down to Charlotte........ giving up a homer to Josh Paul will do that. Actually I think he's still got a shot, and I am secretly hoping for him to win the spot. he'd better not give up anymore homers to back-up, back-up catchers. KipWellsFan
I also read Garland retiring or facing (not sure) 5 batters striking out the first 3 he faced. Thats what I like to hear.
bulokis
I also read Garland retiring or facing (not sure) 5 batters striking out the first 3 he faced. Thats what I like to hear. You're right, I read the Tribune and the article said Jon retired 3 out of 5 batters he faced on K's. Its a great article on Garland and its on one of the topics on the board so I wont make a link for it. There is also a great article on Aaron Miles on the Trib. The article said Miles had 2 hits against Colon and that healso made great defensive plays. They also compared him to David Eckstein being small and irritating to pitchers (I guess). JM really like Miles also.

MurcieOne
here's what I know Daubach - 3 for 3 2 doubles 2 Rbi Miles - 2 for 4 infield single, and double Colon 2 runs in the innings Garland retired 4 of 7 batters on k's Buehrle pitched similar numbers to colon
witesoxfan
I hope, pitching wise, that only Garland keeps getting those kinds of results
WhiteSoxPride3035
I also read Garland retiring or facing (not sure) 5 batters striking out the first 3 he faced. Thats what I like to hear. Hell yeah !! What Sox fan doesn't like to hear that sort of news?!
witesoxfan
Last year, Randy Johnson pitched extremely well in ST...and he won the NL Cy Young. Last year, Joe Mays had an incredible ST.....and then he posted an ERA over 5.00 and was out for about half the year with an elbow injury, and just had some more surgery this past offseason. I hope Garland is somewhere in between there.
