maggsmaggs
Via rotoworld.com Magglio Ordonez (left knee surgery) believes he will return to action next week during the White Sox series against the Indians. Ordonez will run the bases today in Montreal, and if all goes well, he could be ready to play next week. The Sox have not indicated if Ordonez will have to play a few games on a rehab assignment before returning to action. Wedge
I think everybody is predicting Carlos will start slumping now. Thus, having Maggs back in the 4-hole is pretty important.

This seems a little rushed, and I'd hate to see us take 1 step forward and 10 steps back if he's not ready in even a limited capacity. If he's coming along that well it's great. But I'd rather they let him heal up through the rest of June at least.
Yoda
If Maggs says he’s 100% ready to go by next week, we should see him in action in the Cross-town classic.

YASNY
I think he last played on or about May 25th.
Obstacle 1
says a ton about the club that they can overcome a huge loss in maggs.
SoxAce
I say Maggs will come back in a couple weeks. I say the sox will put him in a couple of rehab games then we'll see him back.

After his record hitting streak he has gone hitless in his last two games and has been striking out as much as Jose V. I think we need to trade him while there is still a market for him. Harry Chappas
If he is back next week this is a huge lift and shows his determination. With Frank playing some first they can use him as a DH once in a while and then have Konerko to PH late in the game.

dasox24
I'd love to have Maggs back, but if he's not 100%, there's no need for him to come back b/c I don't want him playing hurt or getting hurt again. Maggs is a huge part of our team and we're gonna really need him late in the season.

FlaSoxxJim
The reports of Magglio's imminent return to the lineup have been greatly exaggerated. This from Cowley in today's Southtown: Jumping the gun Right fielder Magglio Ordonez, out since May 25 with a left knee injury, won't return tonight as he had hoped. Ordonez, who underwent surgery earlier this month to repair a small tear to the medial meniscus in his left knee, hasn't even done any baserunning or sliding yet to test the knee, according to Schneider. Ordonez said last week that he was hoping to return in time for the series against the Indians even though the original timetable called for him to be out until mid-July. southsideirish
No need to rush him. We haven't even missed him. We are still hitting and scoring runs, so let him sit out.
