Y2HH
please don't do that. We all complain about cub fans coming to the cell decked out in their gear, it's stupid. Have to represent. Not to mention, when I go to Wrigley, with or without my Sox gear, I respect the home team...I won't be there rooting on the A's to get attention. But I will not act like I'm not a Sox fan, either. whitesox61382
:fyou Buehrle...This makes me sick to my stomach. The Sox offense gives you a 3 run lead and than you proceed to give up 5 runs against the worst offense in baseball. The true sign of an ace. I hate to say this, but the league is figuring out Buehrle and it appears that his numbers will be worse for the 3rd straight season in a row. Not a good trend, especially when you consider that his weighted salary increases over the next couple of years. I think it might be in the Sox best interest to trade Buehrle before his stats get too bad and his salary becomes a burden(maybe St. Loius is still interested). Here are some scary stats over the past week and a half. The Sox starters have an ERA of 6.58 since the Philly series, and that includes Loaiza's impressive start yesterday(the only start in which a Sox starter has given up fewer than 3 ER). That ERA will continue to rise after Buehrle's pathetic performance today. I thought that the Sox starters overachieved the first 2 months, and now it appears that they are coming back to Earth. The Sox desperately need another front of the rotation starter if they expect to contend, else it appears like another 2nd place finish. A few minutes ago I may have been mad enough to agree...but the fact is, that over Buehrles last like...6 starts...he's had a 2.2 ERA or something VERY low. So get off his case. Our offense was there for him when he finally needed them.

Wear a Sox hat or something. No need to deck yourself out in Sox gear - it's stupid, and we would be hypocrits to say it's cool to do something like that at Wrigley. Just go there, cheer for Oakland, and make no mention of the Sox.

CWSGuy406
First inning Buerhle seemed to want to throw all strikes. He didn't throw many pitches in the dirt or up and in. Also, his velocity seemed down. Let's hope it all changes from now till the end of the game. Come on Buerhle-mon!

sox-r-us
I said this before, I will say it again The Expos currently have 4 players (Wilkerson, Everett, Vidro, Johnson) who will bat lefty against right handed pitcher (say tomorrow or day after) Why not play both Frank at 1st B and Paulie at 3rd B? 3rd B is as good as 1st B when you have half the batters playing opposite to the other half
