Be Good
Kerry says by 2007 the min wadge will be $7 an hour, up from $5.15. Not that I care too much as I'm making more then that, but for me just another reason to like John. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/5239288/

Cerbaho-WG
That's a moronic thing for Kerry to say. Anyone who has taken basic economics knows what I'm talking about.

cwsox
Last time the minimum wage was raised, in 1996, the economy tanked and we went into depression and the bread lines were fantastic, the worst economic times in American history. May all who oppose the increase in the minimum wage have to live on the current minimum wage for a few months.
YASNY
It will take about a week for inflation to negate any gains.

Rex Kickass
Most Mom and Pop stores start workers out at higher rates than 5.15. I care about business, but there are people who have to live on Minimum Wage salaries. I care about them too.

There is so much more people living off min. wadge (or less then $7 buck an hour) then there are small busines's. And for the past 10+ years small business are doing worse and worse. What about creating 10 million jobs in his first 4 years in office? I didn't know there were that many McDonald's potentially looking for new hires

I'd like this for the sole fact that I am a greedy son of a b****........

It is not much better than your 5.50 but it is made worse by the fact that 2 of my close friends are making $8 an hour at New York Sports Club.
