CSF
Cubs currently lead 1-0 in the 3rd. They asked Mulder earlier growing up in South Holland if he was a Cubs or Sox fan? He said coming home from school the Cubs were always on so he would watch them, but that he was still a Sox fan growing up and would enjoy beating the Cubs (and every other team). Now if only he were pitching on the South Side, that would be sweet. Also, Chip made a comment in the 2nd inning when the Cubs had RISP, that they had a chance to "put a crooked number on the board." Looks like Chip listens to the Hawk as well.

redandwhite
2 on, 1 out. If Bradford can just get to Sosa, this game will be over.
redandwhite
Cubs win, on the Michael Barrett 2 rbi double. Maybe Billy Koch should have gone back to Oakland for the closers role

LowerCaseRepublican
f***ing f***y f*** f*** f***. Goddamned Bradford couldn't hit the broadside of a barn with a strike.
BrandoFan
Bradford is just a good old-fashioned piece of s***. What else could one expect from him? Cubs are unstoppable.

CSF
I hope Olivo is catching Munoz tonight and has a monster game to make Moneyball rendered a bit more useless.
Jordan4life_2007
Bradford is just a good old-fashioned piece of s***. What else could one expect from him? Cubs are unstoppable. lol@unstoppable. They're on a nice streak right now. They're getting every break. But they're hardly dominating teams.
BrandoFan
McLemore can't come up with a routine groundeball with 2 outs and Cubs score 2 runs. Dye can't bother to wear shades and "loses" a pop up in the sun, leading to another run. Cubs win 5-3. 9 games over .500 and they beat up on the Angels, A's and Astros in the recent stretch. Once they get Kerry Wood back in about 2 weeks, I have no idea how teams plan on beating them on consistent basis. Cardinals will put up fight, but in the long run, if both teams are healthy, I just don't see it.
Yoda
The Cubs are on a winning streak at the moment. When was the last time our Sox got to sweep a team in a four game series? The Cubs managed to do that to the Houston Astros, take away 2 from the Angels and the A’s. These guys are playing good baseball at the moment. It’s a good time to be a Cubs fan
The Critic
The Cubs get hot against the Angels, Astros and A's. The Sox dump 2 of 3 to the Montreal Expos, giving up buckets of runs in the process. Things are looking a bit dire right now, heading into the series on Friday. Hope the Sox can take care of business against Cleveland, since that situation is MUCH more urgent than the Cub series. If they're not careful, they could be the THIRD-place White Sox by the time the Cubs pull into the USCF parking lot. ( or at least the tied-for-second Sox, anyway... )
