Rex Hudler
Keep in mind these guys are young. I am somewhat surprised Weeks is struggling as much as he is, but you can still see parts of his game that shine. He definitely has talent. Fielder just turned 20 in May. Gwynn is 21 as is Weeks. Fielder has real power and is a threat to lose one every at bat. Bajenaru struck him out Friday night in the 9th inning after Fielder fouled off 5 consecutive pitches after the count ran full. It was a great matchup. I guarantee you Baj sighed a bit one after Fielder missed the high fastball (92 mph) that put him away. Gwynn is more of a name than the other two. I think he will take longer to develop. His father was in the house on Friday night, watching Anthony Jr. play. Brad Nelson is another one to watch on their roster. He is hitting .283 with 12 HR and 38 RBI. They have some serious potential in their 1-4 hitters.

One question I have is that I thought Martel had been batting higher in the batting order, what happen there...2 for 4 with 2 rbi?

One question I have is that I thought Martel had been batting higher in the batting order, what happen there...2 for 4 with 2 rbi? Weeks is in his 1st slump of his young career, don't worry he'll get out of it. All Milwaulkee neds now is some young pitching prospects to come along since they'll probably have to replace Ben Sheets when he hits arbitration. dasox24
Why has Lucy been DHing, I thought someone said he was a damn good defensive catcher? I think that Lucy's DHing b/c of a couple reasons. One, he just got to Great Falls and hasn't worked w/ the pitchers much. Two, Duechler was a Great Falls last year and has been working w/ many of his fellow Great Falls teammates all spring, so I think they're gonna give him a chance to catch first. Three, there are three catchers on the roster, so Lucy won't be able catch as much b/c he'll split time w/ 2 other catchers. All, that being said, I think we'll see Lucy catch a game w/in a week or so.
