DBAHO
Charlotte eh? And who gets the call? Grilli I'd think. Or maybe a reliever like Baj, and we giv Cotts or Adkins an oppurtunity.

qwerty
Charlotte eh? And who gets the call? Hopefully someone is middle relief that can though the ball for strikes and not get hammered. Pretty hard concept for anyone we bring up.

AngelasDaddy0427
We need to keep Diaz on schedule so we can start him if a trade doesn't happen. We need to not screw him over this time...

winninguglyin83
It shouldn't be this impossible to find a fifth starter who can deliver 5 or 6 decent innings. it's truly ridiculous

Yeah, you'd think the Knight minor league organization would have something... sheesh
striker
They should have sent Politte, Cotts and Jackson with them. Let's face it. They suck just as bad.
redandwhite
I think Cotts needs to be sent down immediately, made a starter for Charlotte and come back up next season and be a fulltime starter. If he's the future, why have him relieve?

If he's the future, why have him relieve? Then what exactly would we do in the bullpen; our bullpen doesn't have a whole lot of flexibility right now. We can wait until ST to see what Cotts can do as a starter.

greasywheels121
True. A reliever *cough*Billy Koch*cough* would be very helpful right now. Billy Koch was not a reliever..... The only way you can put Billy Koch and relief in the same sentence is the following: "Ozzie Guillen is coming to the mound to pull Billy Koch; a sense of relief goes over the crowd." ChiSox_Sonix
It was just one start. I'm glad Munoz got sent down but some of you make it seem like all is lost with him. He jumped from AA to Chicago, made his first start in the bigs, is in his first year as a starter, and is young. He obviously isnt ready now, but i dont know why so many people are acting as if he will never be any good. (Multiple threads led me to this statement)

redandwhite
Did you just say Billy Koch would be helpful? He's a better reliever than Mike Jackson and Cliff Politte.
WHarris1
He's a better reliever than Mike Jackson and Cliff Politte. Is that why Jackson's ERA is 5.19 and Koch's is 5.40?
Kid Gleason
I read somewhere that Diaz can't get called up yet. It appears that Jeckle has been hanging from his nuts for so damn long that they are blistered now, and he can't pitch worth a damn at all now..
