SoxAce
Big Aramis fan. Love watching his potential during his Pit. dayz and I think he'll be a hellofa player for the cubs now and the future. Just 25 years old.
GoodAsGould
yeah he is by far my favorite cubby to watch.... i also like carlos zambrano because its fun to see a player with so much emotion even though some of you find him annoying

Obstacle 1
i didn't think much of ramirez while he was in pittsburgh. I didn't get to see him play that often on tv, but i always felt he k'd too much and was a sub par fielder. but for some reason i did feel he was a good change of scenery candidate (who the hell wouldn't do better out of pittsburgh?), which he proved to be. he is a solid ballplayer, but i still hate his guts. Reminds me of his expo days. Juan Pierre?? Very average D, too many caught stealing and OBP that is dropping fast lately. Grissom started out hot in April, but since then has pretty much sucked. Bonds should start and either Edmonds or Drew in CF in the 3rd spot.. Lee? No way. Lawton, Matsui, Crawford, Guillen and a few others have been better overall. Frank should be over Hattenberg even if he will only have 10-12 games at 1B. Melvyn Mora is coming back to earth and A-Rod is yet to get on a roll. Since A-Rod is much superio defensively and on the pads, all he needs to do is to come close to Mora offensively, and he should be the starting 3B. C. Guillen and Uribe are great picks, though. And oyth
BrandoFan
Scott Rolen >>>>>>>>>>> Aramis Ramirez Don't even begin to think otherwise. That's not an indictment on Ramirez (him and Alou carried the Cubs when they should have by all rights fallen behind the Astros by 8-10 games), but a testament to how f***ing studly Rolen has been so far. Rolen, Ramirez, Beltre, Chavez, Glaus....that's what 3B position is all about. Big arms and bigger bats.

And apparently Angels management was furious with him when he decided to rehab his shoulder during the offseason instead of just having the surgery for it, since ultimately he needed it. I believe this is his walk year and the Angels are supposed to be high on some kid named Dallas McPherson so they'll let him walk. Can't disagree with the other names you have on there. Rolen is the best of the bunch though by far.

Rolen is the best of the bunch though by far. Prima donna or not, the guy has shown flashes of brilliance in the past & had a .700 slugging percentage before he got injured. He's 27 years old. When healthy, he is one of the top three 3rd basemen in the majors. A gold glover with the potential to lead the AL in homers, as he did in 2000? That guy is the man. My all star ballot: 1B Thomas, CWS 2B Uribe, CWS 3B Rodriguez, NYY SS Tejada, BAL C Rodriguez, DET OF Suzuki, SEA OF Guerrero, ANA OF Ramirez, BOS NL 1B Thome, PHIL 2B Kent, HOU 3B Rolen, STL SS Izturis, LA C Lo Duca, LA OF Bonds, SF OF Pujols, STL OF Berkman, HOU Apologies to Miguel Cabrera and Juan Pierre..... McKeon will make sure to put those guys on the All Star team regardless, though.
