Rex Hudler
All that in one post?? Too much to comment on...... lol Okay, I'll try anyway... Honely threw strikes for the most part, but 83 was his hardest pitch. Still struggling with velocity big time. Not sure what is going on there. Jones for Huntsville was good, except for those 4 consecutive walks. He just lost it temporarily, it seemed. Of course, Martel let him off the hook with a terrible at bat with one out after the four walks. Pacheco looked good, but wasn't throwing as hard as he was last year. I'll be curious to see how he does when he gets stretched out. Something just didn't click up in AAA with him and I am not sure what it is. BrandoFan
Honely threw strikes for the most part, but 83 was his hardest pitch 83?? I hope it's a typo - I thought he was 89-91, with a possibility of reaching 93-95 once he "grows into his body". Another overhyped Sox farmhand? I hope his knuckle curve isn't as "great" as Arnie hammer.
DBAHO
83?? I hope it's a typo - I thought he was 89-91, with a possibility of reaching 93-95 once he "grows into his body". Another overhyped Sox farmhand? I hope his knuckle curve isn't as "great" as Arnie hammer. It's only his first game back in a couple of months, with 1 inning of relief. Giv him a few weeks and then we'll see if he's still hittin 83 on the radar, if so, we got problems.

I have reported several times the reason he has been out this long is due to a drop in velocity. He has pitched 4 innings all year. Let's let him work back into game shape and see if the velocity will come back or not. But pay attention to what I say and these things might not come as a surprise to you! dasox24
Way to go BMac! He really needs to get called up to Winston-Salem. I think he's proved all he needs to prove at Kanny.

Cali
Hmmm Maybe the All Star Futures game for MiggityMac? If I were choosing the Futures reps for the Sox I'd say Anderson and McCarthy right now

dasox24
Great Falls lost 7-0. Box Score That sux there goes the undefeated season... But seriously, although no one had a standout game, it's good to see some guys have decent games (i.e. Banks, McGary, Hansen)
Chisoxfn
I'd say Munoz and possibly Anderson. You could see Reed or Borchard in their because of name recoginition though ahead of Anderson although neither has put up the numbers deserving of it. But Munoz is probably a pretty good shot. Did I ask you?! Seriously though can't Borchard not be in it since was already in it twice? Can you make the futures team if you had already been on the big team ala Munoz? I guess Reed could go just based on his status as "top prospect" even though he's not having a season like last year. Reed and Anderson? Reed and Munoz? Reed and Anderson? Reed and Munoz? A lot will depend on what positions they need.... Munoz is a definite possibility, as is Reed. Much of the Future's Game is about hype and potential, rather than current performance. Possibles for the Sox could include Reed, Munoz, Anderson, Sweeney or even Morse (although I doubt it). I would think there would be enough outfielders to keep the Sox from having two on the USA team, but who knows.
