quade36
I'd love to see it because what Lawton did last night was just completely disrespectful to Cotts and the team.
Steff
If he hits Coco I suppose you'll be OK with them nailing Jose for his hands in the air run around the bases then...?
WHarris1
Go ahead and peg them, those f*** heads act like they have never hit a homer before.
quade36
Well Coco also got me upset after he made that spectacular catch. He was pumpin his fist on his chest incinuating that he was the man and even moved his hat more sideways. He seems to be one of those players who are very into himself. th0mas35
Let them be...we'll just take the series from the Tribe and give them a reality check of where they belong in the standings. I remember when Lawton did the same thing after a homerun..and his bat hit Pudge when they were playing the Tigers. Ivan was all in his face as soon as he touched 3rd...and next atbat..ofcourse he got plunked.

His catch WAS spectacular! IMO, they all deserve to be a little full of themselves. They are standing on a MLB field.. they are the best of the best. Xero
I don't think Buehrle will plunk any one. I have never seen Buehrle purposly hit some one because of their previous performance...
soxman352000
Peg both of those SOB. Lawton is a little b****, the way he acted last night was stupid. Some heat up and in may make him think twice about pulling the same s*** in the future against us. If they do throw at him I think I fight? will break out. What do you all think

th0mas35
Does anyone remember when Colon pegged Shannon Stewart to start off the game and then picked him off first? ahh...my favorite memory of Colon.
Steff
If a guy on the Sox ever made a spectacular catch they wouldn't do that. And if you think they would, name who. Yes that would, and have. Jose did it last night. And he's done it previously... remember his Sammi imitation..?
quade36
My favorite Colon memory was when he plunked the first batter in the ninth after Maggs was hit twice. Colon gave up a complete game (was thrown out) for the team. Also what was so great about that was the first pitch was really inside and the batter got out of the way. Then the next pitch hit him.... Celebrating a walk off bomb is one thing. Celebrating a diving catch is different. After all his diving catch didn't win them the game. Wedge
I said no. I don't want extra runners on base and I don't want Buerhle ejected. This is an important series and we can't do this sort of crap if we want to win the division. At best, Buerhle only gives up one or two more base runners than he needs to. Maybe they become runs. If we lose a 1 run game, everybody will be b****ing about Ozzie letting him plunk him and that costing us. At worst, Buerhle gets ejected and we lose. Maybe he gets suspended, too. What if there's a fight and a slew of ejections/suspensions/injuries as a result? Or worse, what if the fight sparks the Indians like the Tigers fight did for us in 2000. The best revenge is to beat them on the field.

Pastime
I don't think Buehrle will "plunk" anyone, but don't be surprised if Lawton just happens to get a pitch "up and in." You can be subtle without being obvious. Whatever that means.
