redandwhite
*sigh of relief* For the good part of the morning I was stuck here on the computer about to break something when I heard this rumor being talked about on this celtics board I attend: The Bulls and the Boston Celtics have discussed a trade that would send Paul Pierce to the Bulls for Chandler, the No. 3 pick in Thursday's NBA draft and another player to even out salaries, according to a source close to the Bulls, the Arlington Daily Herald reports. Then, about a half hour ago, Danny came out and stated "it isn't happening." Ahh, my day has been made...
CubsSuck1
Ainge also said Toine Walker wouldn't be traded. Don't shut the door on this deal just yet.

He never said Walker wouldn't be traded... and the point is, Pierce for Chandler and the draft pick is an absolute joke and Paxson should be killed for even offering that thing. Ainge woudln't come out and say that , yes, they are going to trade a way Pierce. They've gotta keep things confidential.

Danny and Doc just came out and said "it isn't happening," and "No one’s untouchable, but Paul is as close to untouchable as you’re going to get,” which im guessing means Paul Pierce won't be traded for crap like this idiot Chicago writer proposed. Still, when did Danny Ainge ever say Antoine Walker wouldn't be traded?
WHarris1
While I don't think this trade is going to happen. It has nothing to do with Ainge say it won't. It's not like he's gonna be like, "Yeah, we are discussing a trade with Pierce and Chandler, I'll keep you posted." The reason I don't think it's gonna happen is because when does anything ever go good for the Bulls?

redandwhite
You cannot be serious. Rooting for Dino Radja, Dee Brown, Pervis Ellison, Eric Montross, Greg Minor, Rick Fox and the losing Celtics just wasn't cutting it, so thats where hating Jordan came in. His last name is also the same as mine, and I hated the "are you related to him" questions even though im a white boy.

danman31
Most of the 90's, just about everything went their way. Someone had to mention it! I'm sick of these people that cry about losing when the Bulls won 6 titles.

DBAHO
Bad deal for Celtics, Doc Rivers can't coach young players. Name one young player besides Trace McGrady who played well under Doc Rivers.
Chisoxfn
Don't close the door yet, the Bulls are working to get Pierce. I do agree this would be a lopsided deal, but it seems Ainge wants to blow things up.

There was a white guy in the town I used to live in named Mike Jordan...his full name was Michael Jordan. We always razzed his son because his dad's name was Michael Jordan. It was fun.
