soxman352000
Pitching has been horrible lately, but I think if they can get through this dead arm period they can get back on track
CWSGuy406
But we have the best pitching staff in baseball. NO PROBLEMS HERE!!! ????? Who said we had the best staff in baseball, even when we were pitching well?
Gene Honda Civic
And that's not much to boast about when you see how the ball flies out of Coors Field. Opposing pitchers have a higher ERA at Comiskey than visiting pitchers do at Coors this season. It's not just our pitching staff. USCF has become a launching pad. Check out the park factors this season. USCF is giving up HR's at a greater rate than any other park in baseball, including Coors. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/stats/parkfactor?sort=HRFactor

They said it has to do with the angle of the new roofing and that it makes the wind swirl and take hold of the ball or something like that (I had 3 years of physics in college, but I haven't put it to use in a while, but it sounds plausible). EvilMonkey
Do chicks really dig the longball? After last night, ask Mike Jackson. He seems to give up enough of them.
greg775
Do we lead the league in homers? We've bashed quite a few, also.
