We didn't. --We didn't need Sammy. We have Magglio. --Frank Thomas has Hall-of-Fame numbers - Hurt's so good. --Shingo Takatsu is Japanese for "hitless inning." --We don't throw back the opposition's home runs. We keep our own. --Last World Series appearance. Last World Series win. Head-to-head edge. Enough said. --Four words - Churros at The Cell. --'Ozzie ball' is a way of life, not a style of play. --Juan Uribe is Spanish for ".300 hitter." --Wrigley Field might be known as a hitter's paradise. greasywheels121
Haha from the Trib.... Guillen said the Cubs have a "great pitching staff." He then was asked if it was better than the Florida Marlins' staff he was with last season. "Florida Marlins are the world champions, the Cubs are not." The open house is on Saturday so I will miss all of Saturdays game. He has WGN, but not FSN Chicago, I already asked him. I will be listening to a lot of the games on the radio on my way to baseball games on Friday evening and Sunday afternoon. I guess I could have Gameday and the game threads here on Saturday if I can escape to a computer.
