JDsDirtySox
Source: Seattle Post-Intelligencer/Rotoworld Although it has not been confirmed by the team, Aaron Boone has signed a contract with the Indians. So says his brother Brett. Boone, who has been out of action since the spring after tearing a knee ligament playing basketball, could be ready to play in about four weeks. Casy Blake, who has been fantastic as the Tribe's third baseman (12 homers and 40 RBI in 244 at bats) would likely shift over to first base on the days Boone starts at third. Disappointing Ben Broussard will likely loss much of his playing time as a result of this signing. Aaron Boone is a very good player. Nice Signing by the Tribe. Xero
It can really help their ball club. But I thought their 3rd basemen now is Travis Hafner?
whitesoxin'
Wow, the Tribe really could make a push now with all of that offense and young pitching they have now.
SuperSteve
It can really help their ball club. But I thought their 3rd basemen now is Travis Hafner? Hafner is DHing most the time I do believe. Blake is at 3B, and in the last series we saw them, Merloni played some 1B, with Broussard coming off the bench.
dasox24
This is a great pickup by the Tribe. Boone will help them a lot if he's not slowed much by his torn ACL. Any word on when he'll be back?
