But in the beginning of todays game he wasn't hitting his spots and not locating his breaking ball which is why he gave up 5 runs. Now that he's settling in, he's making our hitters look foolish. Now that he's settling in, he's making our hitters look foolish. He and Carlos Silva are similar pitchers. They both have insane fastballs that just drop. When they make a mistake, you hit it. You get a fast baserunner on base, you get in his head. When those two get in a rhythm, you can forget about it. I assume he's made two big mistakes today, and we capitilized on them. That's good.
