kapkomet
Interesting. We all knew that at some point this would happen. It's what happened in the early 90s after the economy busted back in the 80's. It's all part of a cycle, but it's a dangerous cycle.
israel4ever
Don't worry Republicans! The rich people are gonna do just fine! Vote 4 Bush! :headshake
IlliniBob72
Don't worry Republicans! The rich people are gonna do just fine! Vote 4 Bush! :headshake You have a serious wealth issue. Out of curiosity, what is the minimum income one must have to be considered "rich" by you? I'm curious because Central Illinois is solidly republican and am wondering what the average person here makes. If "rich" is anything more than $33,000 I'll be stunned. 1549
Don't worry Republicans! The rich people are gonna do just fine! Vote 4 Bush! :headshake Using three year averages, Arkansas had the lowest median income entering the 2000 election. Arkansas voted for Bush. Don't make generalizations. The richest 5% in this country controls 95+% of the country's money. I guarantee you that of this 5%, 80% of them are Republicans. It makes complete sense to be a Republican if you make more than $100K per year, YOUR President is going to give you ALL the tax breaks. That's also why "big business" votes Republican. That doesn't mean that the bottom doesn't vote for Bush though. See Arkansas as an example.
israel4ever
I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY A POOR, DISENFRANCHISED INDIVIDUAL OR MINORITY WOULD EVER VOTHER REPUBLICAN!
southsider2k5
I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY A POOR, DISENFRANCHISED INDIVIDUAL OR MINORITY WOULD EVER VOTHER REPUBLICAN! Maybe because of the liberal flag bearers?
