SoxAce
Bad thing is that he's 22 and in A ball. Not good. They should move him up if he's dominating down there. (and from that 0.90 era I say he is.. )
Chisoxrd5
Short Season A Ball is primarily a league for Newly acquired college players...its comparable to Advanced rookie ball but most of the players are much more polished than that of a rookie ball team which is mostly highschoolers, juco and hispanic free agents.... So to say he is 22 isnt a bad thing because if you look at the rosters the VAST MAJORITY of the players are 21-23 years old... The reason i know so much is because one of my close friends plays in the New York/Penn league....

(and from that 0.90 era I say he is.. ) It's Danny Almonte's older brother. He's really 35!
dasox24
This happened a couple days ago, but I just decided to post it since I haven't seen it before. A 22 year old minor leaguer in the Orioles system, playing for one of their their short season teams, pitched 5 innings striking out 15 hitters. He allowed 1 hit, but all the outs he recorded were strikeouts. I don't care what level your at or how old you are, striking out 15 in only 5 innings is just sick. Anyway, just wanted to share this w/ y'all.

Texsox
At least this time when we are discussing strike out records it isn't women's softball
