TLAK
He was never the same after the labrum. I hate to say it, but my most enduring memory is how he would bend over and put his hands on his knees after giving up a home run. ---Saw that too many times, remember the Mike Cameron game? Ouch! winninguglyin83
I'll say this about Parque. The sox rushed him to the big leagues. He threw a s*** pot of innings. Never threw that hard. Blew out his arm. tried to pitch through it. And then he was done. Thanks again for his help in 2000
Chisoxfn
He was a good young pitcher when he came up from UCLA. He did good for the Sox and just couldn't recover from the injury. Like you say winninugly, he came up quickly and was pretty solid from the get go. I do remember how long his delivery was when he first came up. The guy pitched like he was as tall as Randy Johnson, but he always had guts on the mound.
