RiseAgainst07
Why is everyone saying that Morse was our only SS prospect, what about this guy we got for koch, he cant be to bad since he is the only one we got for him. Last time i checked, he was hitting over 300. losing Morse was very small IMO. we allways have Wilson Valdez.
Chisoxfn
Valdez looks like a quality prospect. I'm looking forward to seeing him play in a week and a half or so. OF course he is old for a prospect but he's supposed to be solid defensively, has good speed and seems to hit for average in AAA.

You bastard! Damn - I had it planned out perfectly. Several photos of Garcia, headlined by "The Time is Now!". But you stole it! Bastard, I hate you! ChiSox_Sonix
Wilson had another good game today. I wouldnt be surprised if he came up in September to be given a look and if nothing else to be used as a pinch runner. (Hey, we're allowed 40 spots, a pinch runner or two down the stretch could be huge)

(Hey, we're allowed 40 spots, a pinch runner or two down the stretch could be huge) It all depends on how close the pennant race is. If we can open a big lead we will see lots of those guys. Chisoxfn
Well Valdez is a guy that can come up and play defense as well as pinch run and what not, so he's the exact type of guy you'd see up. Borchard as well.

Borchard as well. He's Ozzie's type of SS, definitely will be an utility man I'd think in the majors, sumtime in the future.

ChiSox_Sonix
It all depends on how close the pennant race is. If we can open a big lead we will see lots of those guys. Even if its close. Hell, i'd even advocate calling up Ruddy Yan once B-Ham's season ended for the SOLE reason as a possible pinch runner late in games. I mean why not? It doesnt hurt anything and gives you someone fast as hell for late inning situations.

Yes it does hurt cause he gets put on the 40 MAN roster and an Option is burned

cwsox
Reed, Olivo, Morse. We gave up too much. that remains to be seen - we won't really know until the season is over (and if Garcia is signed) but I suspect we did not give up too much
