Texsox
Shapiro says 2-3 weeks will decide team's action The Indians are going to spend the next two to three weeks deciding if they're good enough to try to win the American League Central. General Manager Mark Shapiro says he's looking for a starting pitcher, reliever and right-handed hitter. The priority is the starting pitcher because closer Bob Wickman and outfielder Ryan Ludwick might be able to fill the two other needs when their rehab programs end. A repeat of C.C. Sabathia's shoulder injury Saturday night made the need for a starter more critical. Sabathia's injury is not believed to be serious - he was examined Monday by Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham, Ala. - but it's happened twice this year, which means the Indians have to be cautious with the franchise left-hander. DBAHO
Cleveland has no chance. I wouldn't say that, they get bullpen help, they could suprise.
southsider2k5
I wouldn't say that, they get bullpen help, they could suprise. Bullpen help is an understatement. They need a whole bullpen, plus some starting pitching. I think Mike Jackson could close for them, seriously.
danman31
It would be foolish for the Indians to go for it. They need to go for next year. They should win the division with ease if they make some half way decent moves next year.
Yoda
Cleveland won’t be a threat once they are 10 games behind or something like that, because they may come out of nowhere

aboz56
Bobby Howry was never bad in Chicago. Since he left, he's been flat out awful and he was bad towards the end with us.
