Tetsu Yofu is 31 I think, so yeah, not sure there's any upside there. He throws a bunch of pitches at a bunch of different speeds and arm angles if I'm not mistaken.

 

Since the Sox don't have him on their 40 man roster, I doubt they've got serious plans for him. He serves as good minor league depth, and I suppose he could be called up if need be.

 

His results have been solid, but certainly not spectacular.
