RibbieRubarb
According to Peter Gammons last night, we have the most potent double-play combo in the bigs. Our Middle Infielders have clubbed 27 hrs. Valentin has 16, whom Karl "Look what died on my head" Ravach called the most clutch SS in the AL. Uribe has 11. Can Harris soon be the odd man out? elrockinMT
It is quite possible. No homers and 13 RBI's. I think WH is still a great talent, but he is slow in coming around. Reed and Olivo are great talents too, but they are gone. I think anyone might go from this in KW's attempt to improve it. The only question is Valentin's status for next year. I hope we keep him. Homers and RBI are not Harris job, nor his strength. His job is to get on base and score runs. Harris is the current leader in MLB in regards to most AB's since hitting a HR. I hope that streak conitues. We don't want him ever thinking about hitting a long one. Slap it and run like hell. That should be Willie Harris's mantra. SoxFan1
Uribe has done a helluva job this season. No one really expected anything special out of him and all he has done is bat .300, have 11 HR, and like 40 RBI's! Plus, Valentin is showing everyone that his defense isnt that horrible and that he IS the Clutch-meister!
WHarris1
Can Harris soon be the odd man out? As much as I like Willie there is no denying Uribe and Jose should start. I just wish Willie got more of a chance, because he has some talent.

When we're having problems deciding who will be the 3rd OFer when Mags gets back, and we hae a constant shuffle of Jose, Juan, and Willie starting at SS and 2B. baggio202
i think jose is deserving od an all star spot this year..of course he wont even be considered but...he deserves it
RibbieRubarb
I still feel we are lacking a great lead-off hitter. Willie can do it, but where does he play? CF? eeeek
witesoxfan
Plus, Valentin is showing everyone that his defense isnt that horrible Some of us knew that Jose's defense wasn't so bad as early as 2002. But no one listened.
BrandoFan
i think jose is deserving od an all star spot this year..of course he wont even be considered but...he deserves it With the way Carlos Guillen is playing? I don't think so. Michael Young and Tajada are slightly less deservant -- inferior to Jose in OPS, in 'Close and Late' as well as defense and baserunning -- but they're more high profile, so they'll go first. Nomar will be voted in.
