RibbieRubarb
The sweeps of New York and Cleveland in 2000 sent a huge message to the fans and a jolt into the team. If we take two out of three from the Cubs, or even sweep, I expect a huge crowd on Tuesday with a standing ovation thundering throughout the stadium before the team is introduced. danman31
Ehh, I get what you are saying but hate comparisons to the 2000 team. That team manufactured runs well enough to get through the inevitable slump that HR hitting teams go through. This offense is hot now, but when the HRs stop coming up the wazzoo this team will struggle. They need to learn to manufacture runs before they can garner any comparisons to the 2000 team in my eyes. I remebr the 7 game raod sweep and it was amazing. I can guarentee that IF we sweep the Cubs (huge IF) or maybe even take two of three, we will sell out Tuesday. All the planets will align-- Fist place, two sweeps (possibly), we'd be 12 over, and probably at least games ahead of Minnesota, a good team is in town, half price Tuesday, and half price tickets on sale tomorrow. If that went down, it would be crazy, maybe I'll be able to go.

I was planning on walking up, but with the momentum I may have to buy ahead to get half way decent seats.

Brian and I are planning on next Sunday (July 11th). Should we think about getting tickets ahead of time or think we can get okay-to-decent seats day of? I really don't want to pay ticketbastard any fees, but I don't want to miss out on the game.
